Join us for a five-day immersive retreat, where Frédérique welcomes you into her permaculture project, an inspiring space rooted in conscious and regenerative living. Whether you’re seeking to reconnect with nature, yourself, or both, this unique retreat invites you to explore a more conscious lifestyle through permaculture, hands-on learning and mindful practices.
Each day is shaped by several permaculture principles, guiding us through practical activities such as permaculture design, circular farming, mulching, harvesting, pruning and composting. You'll also delve into topics like beneficial fungi, healthy soil ecosystems, water cycles and garden mandalas, learning how to integrate permaculture into your everyday life.
A daily rhythm of learning and connection
Our days will flow between guided workshops, group activities and personal time. You can take part in early morning movement sessions, nature walks and nature-based practices that weave permaculture concepts into physical and spiritual wellbeing.
There’s also plenty of time to simply rest in the garden, swim in the natural pond or enjoy peaceful walks through the surrounding landscape. This is your chance to slow down, reset and gain fresh perspective, returning home grounded, inspired and equipped with new tools and insights.
Together we’ll prepare fresh, seasonal meals using produce harvested straight from the garden. These shared moments in the kitchen not only nourish the body but also build connection, community and creativity as we learn to cook with what nature provides.
Frédérique will offer guidance and answer questions across a wide range of permaculture and regenerative living topics. Marcella guides you into the world of mandalas and leads the morning rituals and other moments of reflection and connection.
Program overview
Each day is centered around a theme inspired by one of the 12 permaculture principles. Through a mix of doing and reflecting, you’ll discover how to apply these principles in daily life.
The full daily program is available in English, Dutch, and French in the linked PDFs. These are also the spoken languages during the retreat. We warmly welcome people from all backgrounds, so a basic understanding of English is expected to help us connect and share during the retreat.
